I'm pleased to announce that, in addition to the regular activities of the Garden, as this year's New Years Resolution I will be creating a weekly web serial cartoon in this space.
Called Lies the Mirror Told Me, it follows two characters struggling with self-image, the confusing nature of the English language, and a series of unbelievably strange hallucinations. It's very simple (essentially two talking heads), very low tech (made with xtranormal), and very short (1-3 minutes each).
You can follow the series each week on this blog, or catch up on missed episodes and/or subscribe to the podcast here. You can also follow me on twitter to get individual episode announcements.
The first two episodes will be released on Monday, and there will be 1-2 episodes each week for the rest of the year. I hope you'll tune in, and embrace the low-tech nature of the enterprise.
I also expect to get out more to visit nature and document the unbelievably strange flora and fauna of our world, so stay tuned for more of those adventures also here at the Garden. For extra fun, and extra strangeness, be sure to check out the new Facebook page.
